A Dolly Trip Down Memory Lane

Another of Stu's major pieces from Sturt School for Wood. What looks like a simple cyclindrical cupboard is in fact a dolls house with two matching sides for our twins. Each side has a working lift and a rollador garage. For the record Stu did not make the furniture - he is not completely insane!

Manly Wharf Hotel Restaurant

Ben May's Manly Wharf Hotel is a fantastic venue on the harbour - we love it on Sunday afternoons. Our kids love the pizza!

Manager Drew wanted some new tables and bench seating for the restaurant as well as a outdoor settings. We re-used the original metal table bases to keep costs down for the client, and gave them some fresh new Tassie Oak tops, biscutted for extra strength and longevity (unlike their non-Pinkerton predecessors).

For the outdoor furniture we sourced recycled spotted gum from the excellent Nullabor Timber Depot in Victoria, with beautiful old bolt holes providing a distinctive feature.
