At the moment Stu is designing a table for HMRI which references the indigenous healing practice of wrapping gum leaves around heated river stones. So the view from the office this week has included a bushwalk through Glenrock lagoon to look for some suitable rocks to use in the river stone inlay that will feature in the middle of the 4m x 2m 'Table of Wisdom'.

Scarborough Winery Cellar Door
Scarborough Winery was founded in the 1980s by distinguished wine maker, Ian Scarborough, who had worked previously with Tullochs and Saltram wines. This family run winery - Ian has been joined by kids Sally and Jerome and wife Merrylea in the business - can be found in the beautiful Hunter Valley. Pinkerton was commissioned late in 2011 to create a timber feature wall as well as zinc topped moveable bars for the company's Cellar Door refurbishment. Working with Liquid Design, although the project involved some very, very long days and late nights over Christmas to meet the project deadline, the result is stunning.
