Unsurprisingly the design, by Rob Harper of RDO, called for an extensive wine wall to hold over 130 different varities of wine. Extending to the ceiling, the black lam and hoop pine ply unit also features a 'library' style ladder to help staff navigate the 8 metres of wine wall.

The Local Bar
This wine bar opened early August
and is the second venture from a consortium of owners that includes Sam
Neil, David Wenham, George Gregan and Phil Waugh. Following on from the
success of the first Local Bar in Neutral Bar, launched back in 2011,
this one is located in the forecourt of Grollo's recently completed
office tower at Sydney’s 161 Castlereagh Street.
